Tomei Camshaft Set VQ35HR When opening intake valve, high acceleration G is required for camshaft to send as much as mixture to the cylinder in shortest time. On the other hand, when it closing valve, valve seat and valve spring will be damaged if acceleration G is too high. Asymmetrical profile must be given to the camshaftユs intake and exhaust valve to fill the two contrary demands; secure wide duration and high lift but prevent valve system from shock and damage, at one time. Generally, engine tuning is to modify the torque characteristic of engine by changing cam duration timing and height of the cam lift, so as to gaining maximum torque and horse power. However, when tuning the engine strictly, it should be carried out with the idea of securing effective area of the valve not only by duration timing and height of the cam lift, but also by through improvement of its intake efficiency. High valve lift allows huge amount of air to flow in, yet it mechanically damages the system and gains friction loss on the other hand. Also, wide cam duration will deriver big power at high RPM, but it gives rough engine character at low RPM too. We worked on to get an ideal well-balanced profile of camshaft and succeeded to give it 1.3 to 1.5 times more effective area than regular camshaft. Each camshaft undergoes a rigourous quality control procedure to ensure that it performs to the optimum level. In addition, each camshaft is coated with manganese phosphate in order to protect from damage even when the camshaft has not lubricated yet. This has done by steeping press process that produces 0.5mm to 15 micromillimeter thin of manganese phosphate coating on its surface to prevent from direct contact with other metal parts while realizing smooth operation. Finally each camshaft is specially wave grooved on the profile surface by oscillation during cam grinding process. Oil pool that is formed on the cam profile surface reduces a friction loss and prevents locking. Tomei camshafts are offered in 2 configurations: Poncam and Procam. дрочибельно:blush: штука отличная вкупе с глубокой работой по двигателю. могу предоставить варианты:blush: жаль, что на 37ые такого не будет. у 37х очень интересная система регулировки высоты и длительности - на них такого кина никогда не будет, хотя выходит, что добрую половину функции этих валов теоретически возможно настроить на 37ых в прошивке..:crazy:
